Consortium
The PlaceMUS XR project intersects several knowledge domains
belonging to both SSH (musicology, arts, history, aesthetics, literature, geography, ontology, museum studies, user studies), and STEM sectors (acoustics, informatics, engineering). Therefore, partners come from different research and creative domains, and their competences will integrate fruitfully.
The consortium includes research and academic institutions (CNR, CNRS, UT, OU, PK/CUT), creative industries (MF, 3DR, Hangveto, SD), a cultural Foundation (CHANGES) and a cultural association aiming at preserving and promoting extraordinary and unique musical heritage which is gradually disappearing from contemporary practices (GEORGIA FOLKLIFE).
